Dídac Llorens

Software engineer in Barcelona. I like building tools that make awkward work faster, clearer, and easier to repeat.

I build software because I enjoy turning recurring friction into tools. Sometimes that means a desktop application or a backend service; sometimes it means going unusually deep into a language like TeX because the right abstraction can remove hours of repetitive work.

P3CTeX is the clearest example: a LaTeX class and package ecosystem I built while studying at UOC so I could produce PECs quickly without giving up professional typography, diagrams, code listings, tables, screenshots, or reproducible source. AAAAT is a local-first desktop application for a completely different kind of repetitive workflow. The older IronBank project records my Java/Spring backend starting point.

My previous career in banking and insurance still influences the way I write software. I care about domain rules, traceability, failure modes, readable state, and knowing which part of a system owns a piece of information. My arts/design background is the other half of that: software can be technically sound without being visually anonymous.

This site is an index of that work, plus a blog for technical notes and experiments as they evolve.
